Our pigs eat just as well as we do. They're rotated to fresh pasture or woodland on a regular basis so they can graze, browse, and root. This year, they're even helping us prepare the summer field for planting. (We provide belly rubs in exchange.) We supplement them with fermented peas, spent brewer's grain, whey, kitchen scraps, and seasonal farm abundance—apples, squash, tomatoes...You get the idea.
For you, that means the best-tasting pork chop you've ever had, with a side of a particularly clean conscience.
"It actually tastes like chicken."
"This is the best chicken I've ever had."
This is what most of our customers say when take one of our broilers home. Why do they taste so good? Because they have access to sunshine, exercise, and a healthy portion of their natural diet when they're moved to fresh pasture each day.
